Gabriel Renewable Energy Fund ( GREF) is a renewable energy fund that aims to provide investors with attractive, sustainable dividends along with an element of capital growth through its investment in a diversified portfolio of renewable energy projects in India, Asia, Africa and other markets. Gabriel raises funds and sponsors for the financing of solar projects and the purchase of solar products

Gabriel has set up a Renewable Energy Fund to provide financing options for clients that need to embrace Renewable Energy Solutions. The first fund size is 1Bn Mn USD and Gabriel has received commitments from several LP’s and Fund of Funds in US, EU, and Middle East. Gabriel has also partnered with several global Solar Funds and has access to capital for Solar Opex Projects. The capital would provide an even stronger financial muscle to build high quality renewable energy projects and ensure timely delivery as the global investment in renewable energy lags significantly behind fossil fuels. As a result, access to investments in renewable energy is limited.

As of In 2020-21, Gabriel can deploy around Rs1000 Crores for Solar PV and Solar Steam solutions and this fund would help industries to increase the availability and access to energy that is clean, efficient, and enable industries to decrease & eventually eradicate the usage of conventional energy sources, which would create a positive impact on environment & resources & society while improving the operational efficiency, reduce the dependency which together would build the clean energy economies of the future
